Southwest Safety is excited to announce its new public tag agency. We can issue license plates to vehicles, issue duplicate titles and registrations for your cars. We can transfer ownership of vehicles that you buy and sell. It is a privately operated extension of the Office of Motor Vehicles.

Southwest Safety Training, Inc is attending the state conference in New Orleans on 3/16/2012. We strive to keep up with the best methods to teach adults and young adults highway safety. As usual, for the last 17 years our students have one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction to make it all about one student at a time.

6 Hour Pre-Licensing

This 6-hour Pre-Licensing course is for applicants 17 years of age or above mandated by the State of LA. Each individual must complete 6 hours of classroom instruction.

Alcohol Driver Education

Given to individuals who have received OWI violations. This course is to help the student realize that drinking and driving is amount the largest causes of death in the United States and that there are alternatives to drinking and driving.

Defensive Driving

A training course for the Adult Learner. Step-by-step teaching makes it easy to understand complex concepts. Personal responsibility and driving; Making choices you can live with; rules of the road; the driving environment, including light, weather, roads and other traffic; Occupants safety devices, including safety belts, airbags and child safety seats.

Driver Improvement

Given to individuals who have received traffic violations. This course is to help the student realize that driving is a serious undertaking and that the driving task is a great responsibility. We offer individual development of safe driving and comprehensive knowledge of today’s transportation system.
